Hemkund Sahib and Badrinath with Phoolon Ki Ghati Tour Itinerray

Day 1:- Arrival at Delhi - Rishieksh

After Arrival at the Airport/ Railway station you will start your journey to Rishikesh, a drive of almost six hours. On arrival at Rishikesh check in at respective hotel. Overnight at hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 2:- Rishikesh - Joshimath

After a sumptuous breakfast you will start your drive on the serpentine hill roads of Uttarakhand, today entire day you will spend viewing the picturesque hills. On arrival at Joshimath check in at the hotel. Overnight at Joshimath.

Day 3:- Joshimath - Ghaghariya

Today after breakfast you will drive to Gobindghat which is around 25 kms from Joshimath. Your car and driver will leave you at Gobind Ghat and with necessary accoutrements you will embark on your journey to Ghagariya which is 16 kms from Gobind Ghat. This 16 kms journey can be completed on foot/ riding a mule/ riding a helicopter. Helicopter obviously is the quickest and the fastest mode of travel not taking more than 15 minutes. The walking trek is the toughest as you have to scale an arduous 13 km trek, the other 3 kms can be covered using a local jeep taxi. On arrival at Ghagariya check in at hotel. After refreshing up visit the Gurudwara Gobind dham.

Day 4:- Ghaghariya

Today you will start early on a 6km trek to the Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib. The Gurudwara is related to the previous life meditating place of Guru Gobind Singh as he mentions in “Bachital Natak” how he meditated along with Pandavas aside a pool in the midst of seven snow capped mountains. In actual Guru Gobind singh never visited this place. This place was discovered around 100 years back by a Sikh military official(Bhai Modan Singh). The trek is quite steep and requires much more effort than the trek undertaken a day before. Upon arrival take bath in the pool of elixir later join the Ardaas (Ardaas at Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is held twice at 9 :00 am and 12:15 Pm) enjoy the sumptuous langar served piping hot, also visit the Laxman temple. No one stays in the Hemkund Gurudwara beyond 2 pm as it becomes dangerous to travel in the night. Overnight at hotel in Ghaghariya.

Day 5:- Ghaghariya

Today we will again trek for 4 kms through the trek is not as arduous as the one taken a day before. The journey is to the valley of flowers where thousands of natural flowers bloom painting a never to be forgotten picture The trek is also lined up by scenic beauty of tall Himalayas land scape, in the afternoon after spending few hours at valley of flowers we will start our journey back to Ghagariya. Overnight at Ghagariya.

Day 6:- Gobind Ghat

After breakfast we will start our return journey to Gobind ghat again you can choose your mode. Overnight at Gobind ghat.

Day 7:- Gobind Ghat - Badrinath

Today after breakfast we will start our journey for Badrinath dham a Vishnu temple around 1400 year old built in Buddhist style. The temple has a long serpentine queue of devotees, after darshan also bathe in the hot sulphur springs(kund) which are known to have amazing therapeutic capabilities. Explore the small town of Badrinath, buy souvenirs, enjoy the picturesque surroundings and scenic beauty. Overnight at Badrinath hotel.

Day 8:- Badrinath - Rudraprayag

Today we will visit the last Indian village towards the china border. “Mana” the last Indian village is also known for the Pandavas as it is believed they under took this route on their way to heaven. Enjoy tea at the last Indian tea stall. In the afternoon we start our journey to Rudra prayag a town where Alaknanda river meets mandakini and the confluence is known as the Rudra Prayag Sangam. Overnight at Rudraprayag.

Day 9:- Rudraprayag - Rishikesh

Today we will leave the Himalayas and travel all the way to Rishikesh a town on the foot hill where river Ganges transcends the mountains to the plains of India. After check in at hotel / refreshing up visit some famous temples / ghats at rishikesh also take few pictures at the rope bridge laxamn Jhula/ Ram Jhoola. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Day 10:- Rishikesh - Haridwar

Today we drive to Haridwar a famous pilgrimage in the Hindu religion. Bhagirath the sage who is credited for inciting Goddess Ganges provided salvation (Moksha) to his ancestors at Haridwar even today Haridwar is the first choice of people who come to immerse the ashes of their ancestors in holy Ganges. “Har Ki pauri” is famous ghat of river Ganges for the same. Also visit temples like Mansa Devi, in the evening enjoy the arti ceremony at the Har ki Pauri. Overnight at Haridwar.

Day 11:- Haridwar - Delhi

After breakfast drive to Delhi and embark on a journey back hour. Our tour ends.
