Char Dham Yatra 2022 Opening Dates 

The sacred CharDham Yatra hosted every year by the state of Uttarakhand. This year the holy yatra will commence from 3rd May 2022. This Yatra will take place only for few months and millions of devotees come to perform this sacred yatra from different places. The four main temples are Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamnotri and Gangotri which is open specially on the occasion of Chardham Yatra.

Chardham Yatra 2022 by Helicopter

In the ancient times to perform Char dham yatra is a big task for every pilgrims as this yatra will be performed in between the mountains and forest with typical weather conditions. Earlier there was no roads, transport, lodging facilities are available to perform this sacred yatra. The only option is left to do trek in to these  snow covered mountain ranges to reach on to the main temples even the roads are not maintained here. This helicopter service also save lots of time as earlier the pilgrims need minimum 10 to 15 days to cover all four parts of this Yatra but now you can do this in just four to five days. 1.  Dehradun- Gangotri Helicopter Service

This helicopter services will be begin from a nearest place in Dehradun called Sahastradhara which means a point of thousand waterfalls. Here you will proceed at sharp 6 am from the Sahastra dhara helipad up to reach Harsil helipad located in Gangotri. Gangotri is the first stop of Chardham Yatra where a temple is located in between the high altitude mountains dedicated to the river goddess Ganga. Gangotri is also the origin point of the largest river in India the Ganges. Gangotri is also famous for its serene beauty and beautiful valleys surrounded by snow capped mountains. This helicopter journey will only takes 45 minutes to reach Gangotri from Dehradun. After reaching Gangotri you will take a visit to the holy shrine Gangotri and come back to your hotel for stay overnight.

2.  Gangotri-Yamnotri Helicopter Service

In the second day of your char dham yatra you will reach again the Harsil helipad to take your helicopter ride to the next  destination yamunotri. This ride will take 45 minutes to reach Kharsali helipad located near Yamnotri Dham. After landing at Harshali Helipad you have to do a trek of 6km to reach Yamnotri main temple. Here the palki rides and mule rides are available for the pilgrims. After paying Darshan at Yamnotri temple you will stay at your hotel in Yamnotri. Stay overnight at hotel.

09:00 AM-Departure from Harsil

 09:45 AM- Reach Kharsali Helipad.

3.  Yamnotri- Kedarnath Helicopter service

On the third day of your Char dham yatra you will be reaching again to Kharsali helipad to catch your Helicopter to reach the third prominent destination of Kedarnath. The kedarntah dham is one of the pious hindu pilgrimage site which attracts millions of tourists and pilgrims every year. This temple is related to the epic Mahabharat which is built by Adi Sankaracharya according to the mythology. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the most visited site of Uttarakhand state. Upon reaching at sersi helipad which is located on the walking distance from the Kedarnath temple you will pay a visit to the Kedarnath Temple. In the evening you will also catch an evening prayer ceremony performed everyday in the evening. Then take rest at your hotel.

09:40 AM- Departure from Kharsali Helipad

10:15 AM- Arrival to Sersi Helipad

4. Kedarnath- Badrinath Helicopter Service

On the fourth day of your CharDham Yatra 2022 you will be again catch your helicopter ride to Badrinath temple which is the last destination of Char Dham Yatra. This temple is also famous by the name of Badri Vishal dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. You have to catch your flight from Sarsi Helipad at 14:30 hrs and you will be reaching Badrinath Temple at 15:05 hrs. After reaching you will be leaving for the visit of Badrinath Temple which looks amazing in between the serene beauty. Millions of devotees come to pay homage at this temple from different parts of India.

Your have complete one hour to visit the Badrinath Temple and again you will be coming back to helipad to catch your return helicopter ride to Dehradun.  This helicopter ride will start at 4 pm in the afternoon and you will be reached at 5 pm to Dehradun.

5. Badrinath- Dehradun Helicopter Schedule

This Helicopter service will drop you back to your base destination Dehradun where the tour starts. This journey will maximum takes 1 Hour to reach Dehradun City from Badrinath Temple.
